When you’re looking to build a website for a small business in Boise, you can easily fall into some common traps.  If you are aware of these traps ahead of time, you can save yourself a lot of money and heartache.

  • Don’t let your web developer host your site for you.  It ends up being a trap where you can’t move your site or access your files without going through the web developer.  To make a long story short, if you want your freedom and you want to be able to have control of your site, host it yourself.
  • Don’t settle for an ugly site.  It doesn’t cost a lot of money to hire a designer for a logo, or even an entire site.  And, if you really can’t afford a designer, you can go with a template that has the look and feel that you’re going for.  With the premium templates we use, the designs are great and your site will look professional.
  • Don’t pay through the nose for your site.  It shouldn’t hurt to pay for your small business website.  It should be a reasonably priced service.  If it hurts, you are paying too much!  Make sure your developer can work within your budget.  If not, find another developer.

I always have you host your own site to avoid any problems in the future.  I care about your satisfaction and want you to be happy that you chose me.  Please contact me by phone or email.
